Just in case you didn’t know, a picture circulating on social media shows a diamond studded Emirates aircraft on a runway. Yeah, Diamond!
The picture was shared on the official Emirates Airline twitter handle and got the attention of a lot of people. In their tweet they name it the “Emirates ‘Bling’ 777”.
It caught the sight of many and it is truly hard to neglect such an amazing piece. The picture drew a lot of comments from people as they couldn’t stop but share their reactions. “Are you playing with physics and aerodynamics?”, asked a twitter user. Most of the reactions centered on how real it was. Others showered praise on the piece of work but it happens to be that it is not real.
Apparently, the picture was first uploaded by an artist, Sara Shakeel on Instagram. Her page is flooded with pictures of “regular things made to look spectacular with the use of some glitter and shine”.
The image received a lot of instagram likes and according to reports, it landed her an upgrade on her flight from Pakistan to Milan.
Emirates got to see this image and also could not reject it’s appeal and had to even repost. And that was why it was uploaded on their page. It is not a real model and Emirates even confirmed it. “We just posted an art piece of crystal artist, Sara Shakeel”. “I can confirm it is not real”, a spokesman told Gulf news.
Will there be something like this in the future that will defy the laws of physics and aerodynamics? Only time Will tell.
